CPEC: Chinese company, University of Sindh agree to explore potential avenues for collaboration

Hyderabad: Chinese Yalong Company and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro have agreed to explore potential avenues for collaboration, particularly within the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Macklene, the General Manager for the South Asian Region at YALONG Company, visited the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Hyderabad.

The purpose of his visit was to deliver an informative presentation on the state-of-the-art technologies developed by YALONG, said a statement issued here by the University of Sindh on Saturday afternoon.

His main objective was to explore potential avenues for collaboration, particularly within the framework of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), with a focus on the students at the University, especially those within the Faculty of Engineering & Technology.

Macklene received a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Professor Dr. Lachhman Das Dhomeja. During his presentation, Macklene underscored the significance of YALONG’s cutting-edge technological innovations and the promising collaborative opportunities that could greatly benefit the University of Sindh as a whole, with special attention to the students within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

Macklene shed light on the various engineering tools and instruments produced by YALONG, which are making valuable contributions to the field of engineering and technology.

The event was attended by all four department chairpersons from the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The two sides agreed to cooperate and work together.
