Karachi: Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, addressing a vibrant gathering of Pakistan Peoples Party’s women workers in PS-105, Chanesar Goth, emphasized the party’s commitment to advancing women’s rights and continuing the legacy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

Highlighting the historical dedication of the PPP to social welfare, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari praised the Benazir Income Support Programme, hailing it as a revolutionary initiative that has empowered women nationwide. She reiterated the party’s unwavering focus on healthcare, stressing that quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone, irrespective of their economic status.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari proudly announced the PPP’s commitment to serving the marginalized communities, showcasing initiatives like the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) as symbols of the party’s dedication.

The PPP scion also underscored key programs like the Pink Bus Service, designed to facilitate women’s travel without hindrances. In a bid to address housing concerns, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari revealed the party’s plans to regularize temporary housing, providing a stable roof for the underprivileged. Furthermore, she pledged to provide 300 units of electricity free of cost to deserving citizens.

As the political fervor builds, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari called upon the people to rally behind PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, urging voters to embrace the party’s vision for transformative change. With confidence, she declared, “We will change the fate of the nation together.” The PPP and the people, she asserted, will emerge victorious on February 8.

The convention witnessed a massive turnout of women workers, demonstrating the grassroots support for the PPP. Notable figures present included Saeed Ghani, PPP’s candidate from PS-105, Asad Alam Niazi, candidate from NA-237, and prominent party members Shahida Rehmani, Sadia Javed, and Sharmila Farooqi, among others.
