Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain discusses political situation with Zardari

Islamabad: President of PML-Q and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday evening called on the former President of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari.

Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and Chaudhry Salik Hussain were also present on the occasion. The political situation in the country was discussed in detail during the meeting.

It merits mention, in a bid to dethrone PM Imran Khan, opposition members have jointly submitted a no-confidence motion at National Assembly Secretariat.

The opposition has also submitted a requisition to summon the National Assembly session in which the no-trust motion will be tabled.

The motion was submitted by an opposition delegation comprising PML-N leaders Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq, Khwaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, PPP leaders Shazia Marri, Naveed Qamar and other members.

Meanwhile, PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that the no-confidence motion against Imran will be a 100 percent successful, his government will not survive.

He said this while addressing a press conference. Former Minister of State Tasnim Nawaz Qureshi, Media Coordinator Nazir Dhokhi and Malaika Raza were also present on the occasion.

Ashraf said that the people’s march led by young leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari started from Sindh and reached Islamabad via Punjab. A sea of people was travelling with Chairman Bilawal. He congratulated the party leadership and workers on this successful public march.

Asif Ali Zardari has trained Bilawal Bhutto while PPP workers are also trained and polite. Therefore, the people’s march ended with politeness and peace, he added.
